Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels is a program created for individuals over 60  who are home bound under normal circumstances, have a mental or physical disability that prohibits the ability to prepare a well-balanced meal.  Participants must live in Norfolk city limits.

It only takes a few minutes to get you set up in the program; your cost is contribution and based on what you are able to pay.  So, give us a call; we can talk more about how we can help you get a warm meal from the Norfolk Senior Citizens Center.

Meals are delivered Monday through Friday (between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.)  We would like you to give us a call by 9:30 a.m. the day of the meal, if you need to cancel, or if you would like to order a chef salad in place of the hot meal.

We look forward to talking with you; give us a call at 402-371-8299.

Friday, March 20

Friday’s (March 20) update is that the Norfolk Senior Citizens Center will remain closed to the public until March 29. We will be providing updates along the way; this timeframe could be extended. All activities will be cancelled— daily, weekend, BINGO, etc). We miss you; our ultimate goal is for you to be safe; to protect the health our community. Meals on Wheels will continue; curbside “to go” meals will be available; give us a call before 9:30 a.m. (402) 371-8299.
